Happy autumn! I hope that this newsletter finds you well and that you are enjoying the warm fall weather we have had lately.
As you may recall, I periodically conduct giving campaigns for a variety of organizations. A few weeks ago, I completed the George Eastman House Photo Finish 5K, walking on behalf of the Rochester Civic Garden Center (RCGC) in order to help them raise money for the improvement of their stunning Warner Castle gardens, their horticulture and floral design classes and certificate programs, their horticultural library, and their annual Spring Symposium and Summer Garden Tour. I have a personal connection with the RCGC, as I have been volunteering at the Castle gardens for two years now. I am happy to announce that together we raised $550 toward their $4,000 goal this year. This contribution represents a portion of my massage revenue for the month of September along with additional generous gifts that individual clients made throughout the month.
The RCGC’s fundraising page is live and they are accepting donations until October 27th, if you would still like to help out. At the time of this writing, they were $185 short of their $4,000 goal. You can visit the page here.
It makes me very happy, as a small business owner, to be able to contribute to various organizations that are in need and I certainly couldn’t do it without you. Hope to see you on my table soon, for some well-deserved relaxation and renewal.
To Your Health,
Theresa Zink, LMT
